[Qgis-user] another ecw gdal question

Hi all,

I have searched about ecw support in gdal and understand the current
position of well, wait and see.  I am Ok at compiling Qgis in Ubuntu (so can
get ecw support by compiling with gdal) but really have no idea when it
comes to windows.  I really want to start testing Qgis at work (which means
windows) but need ecw support badly as I have huge rasters in ecw that i
need to use.

So...can anyone (Tisham?? come on im an aussie too!) point me to link for a
'unoffical' qgis version 0.9 that has ecw support or a good how to on
well..how to compile gdal with ecw support in windows to create my own qgis
with ecw support??
